CLOVIS, Calif (FOX26) — A car crashed into a nutrition store in Clovis Wednesday afternoon.
Flex Factory Nutrition which neighbors GB3 near Herndon and Fowler Avenues is forced to close for several weeks after a white Lexus drove through the front door. Doorknocker
According to the store manager, Lucas Turpin, a woman in her 70s mistakenly pressed the gas instead of the brake.
Turpin says he was the only one in the store during the crash and luckily no one was hurt.
The Lexus managed to crash into a wall that also belongs to a nail salon next door. It is unknown if this incident impacted their business.
Much of Flex Factory’s inventory was lost and Turpin estimates about $60,000 in damage.
He says his main focus right now is finding an alternative location in which he can stay operational and continue to meet with his clients.
The family-owned shop will be updating its social media platforms to help its customers stay up-to-date.
Double Coat Hook As for the driver, Turpin doesn’t believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
