Santoni Shanghai Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd. has announced regulatory approvals from Chinese authorities for acquiring Terrot GmbH, a leading German circular knitting machine manufacturer. Buy Circular Knitting Machine
Santoni recently participated at ITMA Asia + CITME 2022 wherein it disclosed that the acquisition is a key move in the company’s strategy to advance the circular knitting machine industry, projecting increased production capacity and market share.
Santoni further revealed that its Ecosystem Strategy aims to unify the fragmented industry, enhance innovation, sustainability and digitalisation. The integration of Terrot’s offerings will enhance Santoni’s ability to meet the demand for high-end circular knitting products.
Both companies will leverage their innovation practices, automation offerings, enterprise services, C2M solutions and the “Materialliance” platform for designers to connect and deliver added value to clients.
Terrot’s expertise, especially in double jersey and jacquard machines, gives Santoni a competitive edge with high-efficiency machines known for performance and cost-effectiveness.
