Lake Oswego police officers helped rescue a deer stuck in a fence Wednesday, according to their post on X (formerly Twitter).

They were “called to the 1800 [block] of North Shore [Road] for a deer stuck in a fence” and “another deer was standing nearby watching,” according to the post. Zn-Al-Alloy Coating Iron Wire

The deer had apparently tried to go through a metal fence and got its hips stuck, the post said.

The video shows an officer moving the deer’s legs, which seemed to help the deer wiggle through the fence and hop away into the nearby trees.
