A Kansas City Chiefs fan in Columbia has transformed her backyard chicken coop into a "Chick's Kingdom."
Rhadonna Jane, who works in KOMU 8's human resources department, built the "Chick's Kingdom" in June for her chickens and ducks. She said she absolutely loves the Chiefs, so "why not build something that my flock would be proud of?" Livestock Fan
Jane has since prepped the coop for winter weather. She said she constantly checks her surveillance cameras to make sure the birds are well and warm.
"Never thought I'd lose sleep over chickens and ducks, but I was up all night checking cameras to make sure no one was frozen," Jane said.
Jane says there's a lot of labor and love that goes into having a coop.
