Infineon extends Aurix microcontroller deal with GlobalFoundrie...

The deal with GF covers the Infineon Aurix TC3x automotive microcontrollers as well as power management and connectivity chips. The additional capacity will contribute to secure Infineon’s business growth from 2024 through 2030.

The two companies have worked together since 2013 on differentiated automotive, industrial and security semiconductor technology and products, particularly using a highly reliable embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM) technology on Aurix. STM32G070CBT6

Our Aurix microcontrollers are a key ingredient for dependable electronics as we move towards a world with all-electric, all-connected, user-centric, autonomous cars.”

GF has high volume 40nm manufacturing in Europe at Dresden as well as Singapore in Asia.
