Ingramatic, a leader in the designer and manufacture of thread rolling machines, has looked to create an ‘all in one’ unique and modular machine that will allow the assembly of washer and deformation of multi-shape parts when loading the blanks only once.
A m ember of SACMA Group, Ingramatic has introduced the combined thread and profile rolling machine model RP620-R1-RR12, W40/TR6 size inspired by the I-Thread concept, with a R1 washer assembly unit, a RR12 rotary profiling/threading station and the RP620 standard flat dies station for rolling special parts with combined shapes. The new ‘all in one’ machine features the new R1 washer assembly unit, which has been updated with the integration of servomotors and a new design to manage better the changeover time and the quality of the assembly. After assembly, the parts are delivered to the feeding rails of the RR12 station.
The RR12 rotary station is equipped with a GR3 size roller and sector to run special shapes or threads. The station is installed on a dedicated frame before the standard flat dies thread roller. It is possible to by-pass the rotary station in activating the motorised adjustment in height of the unit from the touch screen panel. This touch screen panel also allows the operator to set-up the rotary station easily with the electronic handwheel. After the first rolling operation made on the rotary station, the parts are oriented to the feeding rails of the flat dies threading machine.
The RP620 flat dies station is equipped with the latest technologies available, such as an innovative tool holder, as well as an introduction system driven by servomotors for an ultra precise introduction of the blanks into the dies. The flat dies station is designed to run special and sophisticated parts after heat treatment from M6 to M16. This station also features a lot of innovations, such as the double starter unit with its exclusive self-learning adjustment.
